Certifications

Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) are guidelines established that ensure that field operations account for potential food safety issues. The PrimusLabs GAP program addresses the food safety topics of site selection, adjacent land use, fertilizer usage, water sourcing and usage, pest control and pesticide monitoring, harvesting practices (including worker hygiene, packaging storage, field sanitation and product transportation) and food defense. Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are developed and incorporated into the GAP program, providing guidance with respect to potential points for contamination and preventative or corrective measures to mitigate their effects.PrimusLabs is a global leader in food safety and has been servicing the fresh produce industry for more than two decades. In today’s marketplace, food safety verification and confidence are critical.
GLOBALG.A.P. offers you one core product: GLOBALG.A.P. Certification , available for 3 scopes of production: Crops, Livestock, Aquaculture and consisting of a total of 16 standards.
Organic certification verifies that your farm or handling facility located anywhere in the world complies with the USDA organic regulations and allows you to sell, label, and represent your products as organic. These regulations describe the specific standards required for you to use the word “organic” or the USDA organic seal on food, feed, or fiber products. The USDA National Organic Program administers these regulations, with substantial input from its citizen advisory board and the public.
At CCOF, it’s our priority to work closely with you through each stage of the certification process, from putting together your first Organic System Plan to staying compliant and adding products or acreage later on down the road.
