Roma tomato or Roma is a plum tomato popularly used both for canning and producing tomato paste because of their slender and firm nature.

Roma tomatoes tendo to be oblong in shape and heavy for their size.

They also tend to be more firm that other tomatoes.

While they can be eaten raw, they are at their best when they are cooked.

Commonly found in supermarkets, are also known as Italian tomatoes or Italian plum tomatoes.

Roma tomatoes are grown in the United States, Mexico, Australia, and Great Britain.

GreenPoint’s Roma tomato are grown in Mexico, take 150 acres out of cultivation and are commercialized from November to April.
